Neither. Radical means something very unusual/extreme, therefore not the norm. If at least 85% of the country would call themselves either republican or democrat then that is a majority and neither is radical. If you want a radical party check out the Black Panther party, and many others, THAT's radical. Don't have an account here, my email is witchrock666@yahoo.com if you want to contact me.
A moderate can be a Democrat, Republican, 3rd party, or independent. They are also called "Centrists". Conservatives (mostly Republican) tend to be what is called "right of center" . Liberals (mainly Democrats) are generally "left of center". The vast majority of Americans are moderates, and want the country governed from the middle. Not too far right, or too far left. Politically, moderate politicians are important as they keep the government from going too far left or right, and more towards the middle, where the majority want it. In the public sector, moderates are important because they have the numbers, and control the elections. Most moderate Democrats will note for a moderate Republican over a liberal Democrat, just as most moderate Republicans will vote for a moderate Democrat over a far right conservative Republican.
It is one of the two long-standing major political parties in the US.
You have to register as independent, democratic, or republican. You can't leave the party affiliation blank. If you want to register a third party you can too, but without a democratic or republican registration you can't vote in the primaries.
He would be considered a Republican today, because Thomas Jefferson wanted less federal government, and more local and state governments. Which is what Republicans want today. The federalists wanted to expand the federal government. That is what democrats want.
The new Republican Party wanted to abolish slavery.
He is a Democrat. He Didnt want that to be a determining factor though on his Confirmation.
Members of the Republican Party, both in government and members of the party that do not have an official position in the US government, have a wide range of views. They also have, as does its Democratic opponents, a left, right and center wing.Their center wing is often most close to the Democrat's center. The best way to describe a Republican is to make a comparison to the Democrat Party. Generally speaking a Republican prefers a smaller federal government while a Democrat favors a somewhat larger one. In taxation the Republican Party usually prefers lower taxes while Democrats, do not want to tax the nation to death, but believe that taxes should be higher than the Republicans. On foreign affairs, it is very commonly known that both parties, often share common goals depending on the issues at hand. Since there are millions of Republicans in the US, views on any of the aforementioned issues may vary greatly. This is true of the Democratic Party as well.

She is dating Conor. So she is a Democrat at heart but does not want to alienate her right-wing fans.
no, not in the primary but you can vote for whom ever you want in the nov. election.
Your vote is private, and no one will know who you voted for but you. In some states, you may need to register with a party to vote in that parties primary (which you can do with your state board of elections), but in a general election, you may vote for whomever you want, regardless of your party affiliation.
