There is no premier of Canada. Premiers are only exclusive to provincial governments of Canada, not the federal. The leader of Canada is the Prime Minister, and the Prime Minister of Canada is Steven Harper.However, since this question has also been placed in the Alberta category, the current residing Premier of Alberta is Ed Stelmach. However, since he is leaving office in September, there are several candidates that have taken up the "fight" to be able to sit in the Premier's office for the next three or four years. Only until September 2011 will we know who will be the next Premier.
