Grover Cleveland (born March 18, 1837 in Caldwell, New Jersey; died June 24, 1908 in Princeton, New Jersey) succeeded Benjamin Harrison as the twenty-fourth President of the United States, serving between March 4, 1893 and March 4, 1897, becoming the only individual to serve as President in two non-consecutive terms, including the whole of the year 1896.
