Rebecca Franks was a loyalist in colonial times. She believed that Americans should remain under british rule. She believed however that colonists should have some say in how they were governed. She was from New York. She didnt share all the Partiots' political beliefs, partially because she thought some of there concerns were to excessive. Her fathers name was David, and he was a buisnessman. He provided supplies for the British army in the years before the war.She moved with her father David to Philidelphia. After Americans occupied the town she would constantly insult them upon sighting. She was often seen at British social affairs in Philidelphia as she was impressed by nobility. She said that she wanted to marry a Loyalist.

The Germanic tribes however had no centralized government or even one single king.

Based on her status and connections, life for Rebecca Franks was a lot better than it was for the average colonist. People with privilege usually want to make sure the conditions that create that privilege continues. All of Rebecca's associations are probably loyalists, so the information she received would likely reflect the colonists as the bad guys, and trouble makers who probably exaggerate.
she is smart and kind no--she was selfish. all she cared about was her place in society and she never helped anyone. she was also mean--she insulted people.
