The presidents that were elected exactly two times were Washington, Jefferson, Madison, Monroe, Jackson, Lincoln, Grant, Cleveland, McKinley, Wilson, Nixon, Reagan, Clinton and George W. Bush.
Presidents who were elected one time but lost in a bid for a second term were
John Adams, John Quincy Adams, Martin Van Buren, Benjamin Harrison, William Howard Taft, Herbert Hoover, Jimmy Carter and George H. W. Bush. Polk, Hayes, Coolidge, Truman and Lyndon Johnson were elected once but chose not to run again. Theodore Roosevelt who served only a partial first term lost his bid for a third term. Gerald Ford, who completed Nixon's term, lost his only run for the presidency.
Presidents who served one complete term were the following.
John Adams
John Quincy Adams
James K. Polk
Franklin Pierce
James Buchanan
William H. Taft
Herbert Hoover
Jimmy Carter
George Bush
That's 12 Presidents, not 9.
The only member of a father and son combination to be elected twice was the son, George W. Bush. The father, George H.W. Bush as well as both Adamses were one-term presidents.
Eight. Each term is 4 years. A president can serve a term and then get re-elected one time.
McKinney wasn't elected in 1990. He was dead by 1990.
Some presidents were re-elected and so had more than one inauguration. Presidents who take office due to the death or resignation of the President do not have an inauguration ceremony unless they are later elected to a term of their own. Four presidents never had a inauguration ceremony. FDR had four.
I am not sure what you want to know. Elections occur every 4 years, starting in 1788. Some presidents are elected twice. One(F D Roosevelt) was elected to four terms. Four presidents were shot and killed, four died of natural causes, and one resigned without finishing his last term. Grover Cleveland was president on two non-consecutive occasions, and so is counted twice (as the 22nd and 24th president). Obama is the 44th president, but is really only the 43rd person to occupy that position.
President ford.he is the only one.
Only one at a time.

Since the Civil Warm only one ran twice and was defeated the second time and that was Jimmy Carter. Truman and Lyndon Johnson were elected only once but did not run again. Before the Civil War Democrat Van Buren was defeated in his second run. Polk, Pierce and Buchanan did not run a second time.
