At Saint-Denis, with what the revolution left of his ancestors. The original burial place was in an obscure corner of an ordinary cemetery. The Chapelle Expiatoire in the Boulevard Haussmnn was prepared as a burial place, but in the end the tradition of Saint-Denis won out.
