In the US, you go to your designated polling place as determined by where you live. When you register to vote, they will tell you where to vote, You can apply for an absentee ballot if you know in advance that you will not be near home on election date. If you do not know where to got for that, try the nearest courthouse.

You can go to or look up the nearest voting poll in your city. OR You can register for a absentee ballot that would be sent to your house or residence when voting starts.
