Recall
This is under the First amendment, in part: "...and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
"Recall" is the process by which the voters themselves can petition for the removal of an elected official. Depending on the state laws on the subject, once a certain number of voters signs the petition for recall, a special vote is scheduled for all voters to vote for or against removal of that official. Recall does not require any particular reason for the recall such as legal violations or dereliction of office.("Impeachment" is another term related to the removal of an official Impeachment proceedings are instituted and concluded by the legislative branch only in order to remove an official for crimes or malfeasance in office. The voters have no say in the impeachment process.)The US Constitution does not allow the recall of the President or of any federal officials , but House of Representatives had the power of impeachment.
In the US, impeachment is the first step in attempting to remove a public official from office. Impeachment means "to bring charges against."The House of Representatives has the sole power of impeachment, which is like a grand jury indictment sending a defendant to trial. The Senate conducts the trial phase of the process. If the official is convicted by a two-thirds vote of the Senate, then he or she is removed from office. If fewer than two-thirds of the members vote for conviction, then the official is acquitted and remains in office.
To expel a member, two thirds of the House or Senate must agree to the removal.

A potential solution could be the implementation of a recall election system, where voters can petition to remove an official from office before their term is up. This process would require a specified number of signatures to trigger a special election allowing voters to decide the official's fate. It could help promote greater accountability and responsiveness from elected officials.
After a trial in the House of Representatives, where the senators sit as jurors, the official is voted out of office by the Senate. A 2/3rd majority is required to remove an official from office. Less than that majority and the official remains in office.
