GM 200
Chevrolet's used a different bolt pattern from other GM's. An adapter would be required.
not if it is an Oldsmobile engine, Buick, Pontiac, and olds had the same bolt pattern in the 70's, different from Chevy
I am trying to take the motor out of a 95' Olds cutlass supreme. The trans. is giving me problems. How many bolts hold it in.
No, the tranny has to be out of a olds, Pontiac, or Buick to bolt up to a Pontiac engine.
from factory they offered a Pontiac 400 w/ 4-speed or the Olds 403. 301 was also available.
where is the pvc valve located on a 1980 olds cutlass 3.8 v-6
Buick, olds, and Cadillac have there own trannys and usually won't mate to a Chevy engine.
Contact D & D Fabrications in Lansing, Michigan at: www.aluminumV8.com. He can answer all your questions. Hello, the trans from a Olds is a BOP trans I think that stands for Buick Olds Pontiac and the vega's is a Chevy design they may have a different bolt pattern, I know that really doesn't answer your question but it brought up another why? I think the V8 would eat that trans up, I'm putting in a V8 in a Vega and they do not recomend that swap so I think that would go for the Olds too. you can use a trans adaptor (TCI part #230000) to go for B-O-P engine and use a Chevy trans, but I would pick another trans, vega trans are weak. Here is the H body site has a lot of info on swaps (for vega's) but should give you some info http://h-body.org/library/hbodyfaq/index.HTML good luck
i think it would fit but the '94 is updated with electronics so the '91 would physically fit but would not operate properly.
they both have to be front or rear wheel drive, you cant do it if one is front, and the other is rear
only if the trans is from an olds, Buick or Pontiac engine. The bell housing bolt pattern from these engines is different from a chev block
