No. Not without a lot of custom work.
A better question is why would you want to put a ranger transmission on a mustang
Yes, You may have to change the tranny support and shorten the drive shaft but it will fit.
You can fit a manual transmission into an automatic Ford Mustang as long as you have the same engine but you will have to change a lot of things. Depending on the year, you would have to change things like the computer, wiring , steering column to add the clutch, etc. It would be better to buy one that's a 5 speed already.
Not unless you can make universal mounts for the transmission, and you will have to figure the dimensions for the transmission and if it will fit JUUUUST right in it.
There will be differences with the input shaft, and possibly bell housing, it depends on the transmission model and engine you are trying to match up, not every 1990 had the same engine or transmission. Good news is that no matter what you decide you want there is a conversion kit available, just check out the mustang mod sites.
Yes. The motor and transmission will fit but you will need to redo the front springs and possibly change motor mount locations. I have a 1988 mustang lx with a ford 460 sitting in it.
hellz no, but who can stop the from trying?
negative (NO!)
It is possible that a Mustang transmission will fit in a Lincoln Mark VII. It is likely that the clutch plate and the pilot bearing will have to be changed.
if they are the same model, then yes it certainly will.
No, a 6 speed transmission will not fit in a 02 Crown Victoria. Of course, if you are mechanically inclined, you could make it fit but it would take a lot of modifications to the car.
