There is plenty of room if that's what you want to know. Simplest way to do it is to lower the engine and trans into the car together and align the trans to the tail shaft mount. Put a level across the valve covers, then mark where the motor mounts will need to be and remove engine and trans to install the mounts. Headers from a Chevelle should work.
