A 3.8l thunder bird engine would fit or another v6 mustang motor but it has to have the same nolt pattern for the tranny I think 95 to 98 v6 models have the same bolt pattern
yes, and no. they can fit if you keep the chair rails from the 01 and install them on the 96 seats. the rails from a 96 don't match up with the 01.
Sure it'll fit, you'll need the complete harness, ecm and suspension pieces though. Might have to change out the radiator as well.
No it will not.
the 96 thunderbird was only available in an auto tranny.. the 4R70W, this is the same auto tranny that the 96 - 04 mustang v6 and gt have, so you should have no problems.. hope this helps!
In a 1996 Ford Mustang : The 3.8 liter V6 engine ( if you had a Mustang GT it was the 4.6 liter SOHC , V8 engine )
no
Yes the Motor will fit if you pull out the Ford motor. (It is Quite hard to rewire)
Yes
yes
The 94 intake hits the firewall so as is the engine will not fit. However the intake from 97-98 Mark VIIIs are different and will fit in a mustang engine bay. All you have to do is swap a 97 or 98 Mark VIII intake onto your 94 long block and it will fit. Now there is one other problem and that is that the Mark VIII engine is a modular engine so you will need a front k-member from a 96-04 mustang so that the motor mounts on the k-member line up with the ones on the engine. Any k-member from a 96-04 mustang will work even if it is from a v6 mustang.
A motor from a 1991 Oldsmobile will fit into a 1996 Oldsmobile Delta 88. The motor mounts will need to be changed.
