will a 95 chevy k1500 transfer case hook up to a 96 chevy k1500 transmission
I dont think a 95 Transmission will fit in the 98. From what i've been seeing, in my 98' Tahoe, the starter is mounted on the bellhousing of the transmission. I dont think that the 95 would have the same set up when 96-7 wouldnt also. As far as I know, you have to have a transmission that is 98 or newer. Could I be wrong though?
YES they are.
Yes as long as the 95 is a 4x4 also. They both must be a 3/4 ton, are 1/2 tons. The 3/4 ton and 1/2 ton transmissions are different.
Yes it's the same transmission.
NO it will not work. The 1990 computer / Electronics will not shift the 95 transmission. The wireing harness on the 90 model will not even plug up to the 95 model transmission.
The 1994 is an ( A4LD ) The 1995 is a ( 4R55E ) electronically controlled transmission
As long as the tranny is made for that motor it will fit but remember it is still not made for the pathfinder so most likely there will be problems down the road but other than that the tranny will work.
NO.
Yes it will
1994-1995
'96 and '97 should be the same transmission, '95 or prior may be different as most parts listings I've seen cut off at 95. Anyone else? some 95 transmissions fit 96,97 my truck is a 94 with a 95 motor and a 96 transmission
