HEY I AM TRYING TO FIGURE THIS ONE OUT TO...AS I UNDERSTAND IT THEIR WAS A RECALL. THERE WERE KITS SENT TO THE DEALERSHIPS???
On my 99 it is a 7.5 amp and it is found in the Passenger compartment fuse panel...Hope this helps!
Not much-half an hr plus starter (45.00 approx) This is easy enough to do yourself. Most are 2 bolts.
Owners Manual: https://www.fleet.ford.com/maintenance/owners_manuals/ You'll have to select the Year/Make/Model but it should come right up. The Fuse box diagrams start on pg. 139. Enjoy!
They're located in the doors.
I have a 1998 Mercury Mystique and just the other day, my starter started to die. I am guessing that your starter is in the same place as mine, which is why you can not find it. Open the hood, and standing on the drivers side of the car, look down on the side of the engine. (through all the hoses.) You will see the solenoid, and then under that is where the starter is. It is a tough job to get to it if you do not know what you are doing.
Remove the vacuum hose from the EGR valve. Pull the valve out of the air cleaner housing. Reverse the process to install the new valve.
Start with the headlamp switch.
turn the switch on and then push the button on ur gauge until ur oil light flashes it should go off when you turn the car on good luck
