The carburetor needs rebuilding.
Your motorcycle might idle fine and bog out when in gear because of a problem with the carburetor or the bowl. If either area is dirty, it will often bog the bike when in gear.
vacuum leak? carburetor adjustment?
Does this vehicle have a carburetor or is it fuel injected? In any case start with looking for vacuum leaks.

The carburetor on a Weed Eater Featherlite SST25 is adjusted by turning the screws on the side of the carburetor. They control the idle mixture and idle speed of the engine.

Most likely, the idle is set too high. There is an idle adjustment screw on the carburetor.
If it is a fuel injected engine then you can not adjust the idle, it is computer controled. There is no idle adjustment. If it is a carburetor then there is a small screew over by the throttle cable, down towards the bottom of the carburetor.
