my 87 caprice has spacer blocks in the springs so that 22's would fit.. its about a 2'' lift front and back #1. u need lift cups, springs, rear arms ..... u dont have get them 2 if u dont want but u need them! it depends how high" u want 2 get.

a 1994 Chevy caprice has an electric water pump it is located in the front of the engine right above the bottom tensioner pulley! dont listen to that guy^ it has neither a pully or electrics. it runs off a cam gear in front of the timing cover. i own one

no you dont need a lift kitt to put 20s on a caprice you can put 22s on it without a lift kitt
You dont. It is an LT1 engine and the distributor is behind the water pump.
Not unless someone put it in there. They didnt put the lt1 in the caprice until 94. Dont let anyone fool you either, the lt1 has a very distinctive look.
HEY MAN I DONT KNOW IF IT IS THE SITUATION....BUT MY 96 AND MY BOYS 92 BOTH HAD THIS PROBLEM.....MINE HAD A LOOSE GROUND WIRE ON MY ALT. AND HIS 92 HAD A LOOSE GROUND WIRE ON HIS BATTERY WHERE IT CONNECTS TO THE FRAME...SO CHECK IT OUT
