Nissan has not imported this car to the U.S. and it is not certified for sale here. First off it is right hand drive. It also does not meet the DOT emissions controls test. It also has not been crash tested and certified by the DOT. Nissan does not import the Skyline although the current Japanese Skyline two-door is the car known as the Infiniti G35 Coupe in America. Parts for this car are non-existent in the U.S. There are a few importers that can sell a legal Skyline in the U.S. but they are very expensive.
right hand drive doesn't mean a thing. lots of silvias (S13s) are in the US. same with *some other imports. like a wrx, some rx7s.
You can legalized the Nissan skyline but you have to take away some components, and then adding things to reduce the emission and will have less horse power and it will cost thousands of dollars
Yes, the Skyline is illegal in the USA. But it so happens that it is LEGAL TO DRIVE ONE IN CANADA!
If you can buy it in the us from a dealer, you can drive it in the us.

Depends on the model/year skyline. US skyline GTR Vspec... yes.
This sounds like a US of A question. There was a loophole, then the government caught on and seized the cars that squecked by. Good luck
its legal but its illegal if its right hand drive or rhd its also illegal if you add modifications from japan
to fart on it

The skyline doesn't reach US emission standards.
In Japan, the prices for the Nissan Skyline start at 2.8 Mio Yen, which equals about US$ 28,400. The American version of the Skyline, the Infiniti G35, starts at US$ 33,250. Prices for the Nissan GT-R, the successor to the legendary Nissan Skyline GT-R start at US$ 69,850.
