Why is water coming out from tailpipe in 96 Honda accord?
All internal combustion engines produce water as a part of the combustion proses. Before the engine reaches normal operational temperature, that water is sent out the tail pipe with all the other byproducts. Once the engine reaches operating temperature the water is still sent to the tail pipe, but it's so hot it's coming out as steam. Condensation as mentioned above but if the accord has a catalytic converter water is a by product. If the water is copious then you may have a leaking gasget on the cylinderhead. In this case there would be white steam from the tail pipe.

If you mean white smoke is coming out the exhaust this indicates a blown head gasket or a crack in engine that is allowing coolant to get into a cylinder. If the smoke is just around the engine you have an external leak. If the smoke is coming out the tail pipe do a compression check and if you find low compression in 2 cylinder beside each other your gasket is leaking. Also you could use a cooling system checker to pump pressure into the cooling system. If the white smoke is coming out the tail pipe there is coolant getting into a cylinder
