One thing that can make the cruise control stop working is if the contacts are shot or have become corroded. It is also possible that the fuse is blown or that the module needs to be replaced.
Pretty sure it has an electronic speed sensor which means it doesnt have a cable but instead it plugs into the wiring harness.
There are several things that can cause your 2003 Dodge Ram cruise control not to work. The most common cause is a blown fuse. A malfunctioning speed sensor can also cause the problem.
check the setting on the cruise control check the setting on the cruise control check the air flow meter is ok
Alot of cruise control units have a vacuum line going to them. Check this line see if there is any leaks or such.
fuse box, and connections at the servo under hood then vacuum cannister
I was researching that very question. As I searched I replaced the clock spring, the buttons on the wheel, the switch on the bottom of the brake master cylinder. Then after all that I was made aware of a recall notice for the electrical link to the cruise control from the bottom of the brake cylinder. On mine there were 3 in-line fuses. I replaced that with a junk yard one and I got my cruise back. Hope that helps.
check the fuse... cruise control is on the same fuse so if cruise doesnt work then its a simple fix. if not then find horns behind the facia (need to take off skidplate) and check if they receive power
If it were me I would take the air bag back out and make sure the wires arn't "pinched" or broken and make sure that it has a good tight connection with the clockspring connector. If that doesnt solve it then the airbag control unit has failed for somereason. Hope this helps some.
dosnt have an ecu
Toyota doesnt make a cavalier. The cavalier is made by chevrolet.
check the brake peddle switch.
