Behind the glove box on the passenger side. It's only 4 screws to remove the glove box and then 3 to remove the blower motor
You need to replace the blower motor resistor located near the glove box.
It is the blower motor resister that shorted open. it is retangular in shape and is usually by the blower motor behind the glove box. It have two or sometimes 3 bolts holding in it.
replace your blower motor resistor it is behind the glove box two 8mm bolts
If your wondering because you only get a 2 or 3 selection for blower instead of 5. and your replacing blower resistor, im told go behind glove box? never tried it. The blower motor is directly above the glove box. Directly in front of that is the resistor for your ac/heat.
The most likely problem is the blower resistor located behind the glove box door.
Sounds like the blower motor resistor. Should be near the blower motor under right side below glove box!
I do not know what vehicle you are referring to but I just replaced one on a 1996 Nissan Sentra because the only speed that was working on the blower motor was 'high'. Underneath the glove box was a couple of screws that came out and the new resistor was put in. Two screws and done......... Most blower motor resistors are located close to the blower motor.
Bad resistor at the blower motor? Bad blower motor switch?
the blower is behind your glove box. You need to remove the glove box to get to it. this is what your looking but it will be upside-down. Its only a couple screws, and a plug to connect. I went to a junk yard and found one to but on my 95 max.
The most common cause of the blower only working in high is the blower motor resistor…. I don't recall exactly where it is on a liberty but it should be somewhere behind or underneath the glove box…. It adds resistance to lessen the speed of the motor until you put it on the high setting then it gets straight battery voltage…. I hope this helps you out
The blower motor resistor in the us models of the Ford Focus is behind the glove box, against the firewall, to the left of the actual blower motor.....my stock one was blue. it is only held in by one screw....just unscrew it and pull it out. They are like 15 dollars from the dealer.
