I'm not a mechanic / technician but I know the 5.4 liter V8 in a Ford F-150 has
engine cylinders that are numbered :
firewall
4 - 8
3 - 7
2 - 6
1 - 5
front of vehicle
So I ASSUME it would be :
firewall
d - h
c - g
b - f
a - e
front of vehicle
check the coil its by the distabor

Perhaps a bad coil? I have a 1986 ford club wagon 150-302 with fuel injection. It turned out that the pick up coil in the distributor was bad and I had to replace the distributor. Not an easy job.
If the 1983 Ford E-250 has been sitting in the very hot sun for an extended period of time, the engine coil could be conducting heat simply because of the exterior climate.
I know them as : firewall 4 - 8 3 - 7 2 - 6 1 - 5 front I'm not a mechanic / technician but I assume coil " E " would be # 5
There is one on the top of each spark plug
Trouble code P0355 means: Ignition Coil E Primary/Secondary Circuit
e=-48 e equals negative forty eight ----------- E does not -48. The equation is as follows: 54 - E = 17 - 11 54 - E - 54 = 17 - 11 - 54 - E = - 48 - E / - 1 = - 48 / - 1 E = 48 What is done to one side must be applied to the other side. To perform a check, substitute E with 48. 54 - 48 = 17 - 11 6 = 6 _________ You are right! but not for the question that was asked. The original question is "What is 54 PLUS e equals 17-11?" In this case 54+e=17-11 54-54+e= 17-11-54 e= -48 54+-48=17-11 6=6
