ummmm... there are no 3.9 cylinder engines in any mustang. That answer is so wrong!!! I own a 2004 ford mustang 40th anniversary model. Guess what? It has the 3.9 motor instead of the 3.8 that normally comes in a 6 cylinder. Firing order for it is 1-4-2-5-3-6. Hope that helps you. Charlotte the Mustang Lady.
