The easiest way I've found out to find stuff like this is to go to Google, type in "1992 Chevy Camaro Electrical Diagram" and at the top of the page click on IMAGES. Hopefully when it pops up it will have the schematics for the electrical system. That is what I did for my 78.

Real easy because the GM alternator has a built in regulator. That is why the GM alt are used on most coversions. Get mounting bracket from junkyard off same type engine you have.
Assuming this is the 4.3 engine, the ECT (Engine Coolant Temperature) sensor is located on the driver side cylinder head between #3 and #5 spark plugs.
check your registration for your own car's weight, it's more accurate than asking another owner mine's exactly 3000 lbs if it has a 3.1 litre v6, like mine, it's right at 3000 pounds when empty of cargo, gas, or the driver/passengers
The fuel filter is under your car by the rear tire, you will need 1 needle nose pliers. Theres a plastic clip on each side of the filter, you need to squeeze the plastics and they will release.. Not to hard so you wont damage the clip. And the new filter will snap right in. Just make sure you place them exactly like the old ones, there should be arrows on the filter which way to face it.
Ive recently discovered very bad shaking (wobbling) in both front tires of my 87 chvey 4x4 when at 30-40 mph speeds ...I had a driver get in front of me to see what was shaking and turns out both front wheels wobbled back and forth like the driver was sharply turning the wheel........Now i no why......after welding the frame, changing the steering box, and replacing the tie-rod ends, i have discovered that its the lower ball joint.........i have also discovered if you cannot figure out what is causing shaking in your vehicle go to GOOGLE AND TYPE IN "DEATH WOBBLE" that is what many 4x4's have any vehicle and have it and it will shake you very bad at certain speeds and will run you off the road...so check that to see if you vehilce has any symptoms ...good luck
