Wheres turn signal flasher on 98 lincoln towncar
There is not a flasher on a 1996 Lincoln Town Car. The turn signal and hazard flashers are operated by what is referred to as the lighting control module. It is located in the dash behind the knee bolster above the accelerator pedal.
There is no flasher on the 97. It is all controlled by the LCM or lighting control module. I believe it is between $200 and $400 for a dealership replacement.
It is located on the drivers side, behind the dash, mounted on passenger side of steering column.

Two separate circuits, check the fuses then check the signal flasher relay.

It is no longer a simple flasher relay. It is a signal module and it is located under the dash on the drivers side. It is a black plastic box aprox 3"wide by 4"long.
Real simple. Change the turn signal "FLASHER" $3.00 . under left side of dash. pull it straight out push in new one.
That should be inside the cover of your steering column The turn signal lever and hazard flasher button stick outside of the steering column cover
After replacing the burned out turn signal bulb, turn on the hazard flasher and then turn off the hazard flasher. This will reset the flashing on the turn signal from super fast to standard flashing.
The tuirn signal flasher is located in complete module attached to the turn signal lever. It is all one solid unit.
