i have a 1998 cav, and mine is too the left of the driver seat,a small handal that you pull up and when it clicks, you know its open.
This may or may not help. My '96 has an interior trunk release lever located on the floor between the driver's seat and the door sill. I don't know how long Pontiac located the release there.
Look in the trunk
Yes, the 1998 Cadillac Catera is equipped with a trunk release button located in the glove box. This feature allows you to open the trunk from inside the vehicle for added convenience. If you don't see it, check the owner's manual for its exact location and operation instructions.
Press the reset button located in the trunk. If I remember right it is a red button.
The hood release does not require power, so it operates the same as when the battery is fully charged. In case someone wonders about the trunk: long before there were push-button trunk releases, there were key cylinders that operated the trunk. They're still there - power or no power, the trunk key still works.
Approximately 85 percent of the parts of the 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier and the 1998 Pontiac sun fire are interchangeable. Most of the parts that are not interchangeable are in the passenger compartment.
No
Why are ets and engine light on in 98 Chevy cavalier
generally you should find it inside the glove compartment, on the left side. Try between the drivers seat, and the door, on the floor there is a lever that you pull up. i have a 98 sunfire GT, and i have looked EVERYWHERE....i've had it for 3 years, and there is NO button inside the car for the trunk. only the key or the button on the key fob. This is problably no help, but on my '96 there is a trunk opening lever between the driver's seat and the door sill, on the floor.
where is the readlight relay, on the 98 chevy cavalier sedan? thank you.
No such part on an Avenger.
Yes, 98 & 02 are the same motor. Driver side & passenger side are interchangeable.
