I know of no Ford 4.2 liter inline 6 ever made. Ford made a 2.4, 2.8, 3.3, 3.9, 4.1, 4.3, & 4.9 liter but I have never seen or heard of a 4.2 liter inline 6. The firing order is more than likely 1-5-3-6-2-4
