If it is on the 2.7 litre engine, the thermostat is located in the left lower front of the engine. Follow the lower radiator hose from the radiator up to the engine block, just under the alternator and you will find the thermostat housing. The housing or fitting at the top side of the engine, left of the intake manifold is the air bleed and temperature sensor housing only.
Follow the lower radiator hose to the engine and at that junction is the thermostat housing.
