The radiator drain plug on a 1989 Chevy C1500 Silverado is on the bottom of the radiator.
The drain is near the bottom of the radiator on the drivers side of the car.
Heater core has air in it and or plugging up.
It is on the lower right of the radiator and sometimes it is easier to take the lower radiator hose off.
A 1989 Chevrolet Silverado and a 1993 GMC Cheyenne are two totally different body styles. With that being said then no the body parts will not interchange
from driver seat its on lower right side of radiator,i can reach mine through then grill
what colour is the wire i use to hock up a tach on a 1989 Chevy 350
What do you wish to do, drain the coolant or remove trapped air from the system? To drain coolant, there usually is a drain valve located at the base of one of the radiator tanks, there is one tank on each side of the radiator. If it is not there or broken, just remove the lower radiator hose, ENGINE COLD ONLY.
Remove the lower rad hose and drain, the block itself has no supplied drain. You can also use the drain petcock on the radiator lower drivers side but it is prone to leaking after use.
on my 1989 it was on the passenger side on the bottom, but i had a 89 2500 3/4, my 2 cents There is one on each side of the block in the middle just above were the oil pan bolts on the engine. They have a 9/16 head and are short.
Slide in under the drivers side of the truck right behind the cab and look up inside of the frame and you will see it.
it depends on which engine the s-10 has if it has a 4.3 the bell housing will match if it has the 2.5 4 cyl or the 2.8 6 cyl it will not match two different bolt patterns
