I've got a 1994 Explorer, which is very similar to an F150. The power window control module allows "one touch" open or closing of the the window. It is mounted (i.e. located) on the inside of the door trim panel. The dimensions of this black box (literally) are about 2.5" x 1.75" x 0.75". When you remove the panel to work on the window you can disconnect the wire harness to it to remove the door trim panel. On electrical schematics it is called the "one touch module". The Haynes manual I have doesn't mention it in the instructions for taking off the trim panel. When disconnected, no power gets to the motor. I mention this because if you are testing the wiring and the switches, you can waste a lot of time trying to figure out why their is no power to your motor. Hope this helped. Rhett
The power-train control module is located in the hood of the 2007 Ford F350 5.41. It is not easy to reach though. If one wants to replace it, one must go to a garage to do it. Doing it oneself may result in damage to one's car.
If the window motor runs, replace the plastic spacers with ball bearings or bolt nuts. Oliver said it.
The daytime running light module on a 2005 F-350 is located underneath the hood. The module will be in the relay box.
GPCM ( glow plug control module) is the module that controls the glow plugs along with the PCM. It's located on the right ( passenger side) front valve cover. It has two large square connectors one is green and other is black.

If you want to tow a boat buy a ford f250 or f350 if you want the most power go with the f350 that is the most reliable.
