Check your hose for leaks? It might just be how well your hose was put on or a bad washer. Or is it the pump it self?
Remove air filter assembly. Loosen Belt, place pan under steering box, disconnect high pressure and return hoses. Remove bracket to engine bolts, remove pivot bolt, remove bracket and pump as one whole unit. Then reverse the process to install.
looking at the motor, right side next to the power steering unit
ignition switch happened on my 94 also that fixed the problem but you have to drop the steering wheel

The oil pressure sensing unit is right above the oil filter on the front of the 4.7L 2001 Grand Cherokee.
Is it doing anything? Lights? check the ground line? Bad Unit? Warranty?
As far as I know, there is no filter for the power steering unit.
The AC compressor on a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee can be repaired by purchasing a new unit or by sending the existing unit off for repairs. These are sealed units which do not have user serviceable parts beyond the outer seals.
I do not believe there is such a thing as a tcu. there is an ECM (engine control module), and a TPS (throttle positioning sensor) TCU: Transmission Control Unit. On a Jeep Cherokee (not sure about the Grand Cherokee), it's located on the passenger side behind the dash. You can reach it from the bottom without removing anything, but it is easier of you remove the bottom of the dash.
