I have a 1997 Astro and there are actually three (3) oxygen sensors on it. One on each down tube of the Y before the catalytic converter and one between the catalytic converter and the muffler back toward the rear axle. The one the driver's side Y isn't bad to change. The one on the passenger side is impossible and the one to the rear is tough as well.
The 1995 Chevrolet Astro and coolant temperature sensor can be found on the front of the engine. The coolant temperature sensor will be a few inches above the thermostat housing.

Where is oxygen sensor on 4.3 liter 1995 Chevy S10. All O2 sensors are threaded into the exhaust system at various points, and you probably have more than one sensor.
right in front of the catalitic converter
1995 Chevrolet Astro, 4.3 V6 engine with Single Point Injection System has one O2 sensor located in exhaust pipe (between catalitic converter and the place where exhaust pipes from right and left cylinder heads meets in one pipe).
The check engine light would come on.
Behind the wheels, attached to the axle.
