The filter is inside the twist in cap down by the oil pan.
You can get one of two kinds of replacement filters for it.
One is a standard filter, looks the same.
One is just the inturnal filter materal that gose in the twist in filter cap w/an o ring to seal it.
There is a big difference in price between the two.
Unscrew it.

If you look under the car it is by the passenger side tire
It is inside the oil pan.. Lay down look at the oil pan you will see a cap that you have to remove..
You CAN change the oil filter by itself and then top up the oil , but it's best to change both in the long run
if it is the 3.5 engine large plastic cap on the bottom of oil pan cap is about the same diameter as an oil filter drain oil then remove this cap oil filter is attached hope this helps

The oil filter in in the oil pan. It is a cartrige type. There is a round 4-5" "plug" that you have to unscrew in the pad, oil and the filter come out when you remove it, yes messy. An oil filter cap will usually fit, or a big pair of pliers. thanks Gary
