Behind the brake fluid resevoiur their is a smaller round resevoiur just remove the cap and fill it to the full mark
It has a cable operated clutch , it's not hydraulic
According to the 1997 Ford Contour Owner Guide : The BRAKE FLUID reservoir is ALSO the CLUTCH FLUID reservoir
There is a diagram under the hood that shows you where all the fill points are located. The clutch fill is located next to the brake fluid on the driver side firewall.

there is a 17mm bolt on the front side of the transmission you need to take that off then use a gear oil pump and pump fluid into the trans. It is Fill to Spill. Be sure the car is level and fill till it begins to drip out the fill hole.
If you remove the intake hoses, you will see a 17mm bolt on the transmission. More toward the passenger side of the car, that is the fill hole. And just below that will be a 24mm bolt which is the bolt used to remove the transmission fluid.
It does not need transmission fluid. you need to fill the clutch up

From memory, I'm pretty sure the clutch reservoir is located just inside the dashboard near the drivers door (RHD models). It's behind a small removable panel.
