It doesn't have a carburetor. It has a fuel injected throttle body. They have no adjustments. It's all controled by the ECM (Engine Control Module).
You'll have to locate the distributor. Remove the cap and within you will find 2 small screws that hold in the ECM. You can see the cable harness (2) that mate to the ECM on the exterior of the distributor. A quick 20 min. job..This is eletronic control module,the engine control module is under glove box or on kick board.

As for the pick up, the first s-10 door will fit the the pick up until 1993. This is your answer.
