The manual transaxle ( transmission ) on your Ford Escape does not have a
fluid level dipstick like the automatic would normally have
( it is probably checked at the FILL PLUG on your transmission , underneath the vehicle )
The 2004 Ford Escape has a 5-speed manual.
According to the 2004 Lincoln LS owners manual : There is no dipstick for the automatic transmission
The 2004 Chevy Cavalier transmission dipstick will be on the left-hand side of the transmission. The transmission dipstick will have a bright yellow handle.
Automatic , yes. Manual, no. It has a fill hole/plug. Automatic , yes. Manual, no. It has a fill hole/plug.
Nope, it doesn't have one. It's considered to be a "sealed" transmission, and you shouldn't need to check the dipstick. However... you SHOULD have the transmission serviced according to the maintenance schedule in the owners manual. When the transmission is serviced, the fluid is drained, the filter is replaced and the transmission is filled UP TO an overflow hole on the side of the transmission. But there is no transmission dipstick.
No
I have a 2004 and it does not have a transmission dipstick.Hope that helps.

Starting in 2002 , the Ford Explorer 4 door does not have an automatic transmission fluid dipstick
No. The manual transmission does not have a filter.
According to the 2004 Ford Expedition owners manual : The drawing of the engine compartment shows the automatic transmission fluid dipstick just to the right of the battery ( when looking into the engine compartment from the front of the vehicle )
Transmission fluid is added down the dipstick tube.
