Finding the camshaft sensor is the trick replacing it is a snap. Open the hood and look on you left front for the Power Steering fluid unit. On the engine directly behind the unit you will see a sensor with wires. (This is not the camshaft sensor). From this sensor go 6 inches toward the front on the engine and 1 inch on the front of the engine. You will see the camshaft sensor tucked slightly under a lip here. All you will be able to see is the sensor connector with the wires running out to the front. Use a small screw driver to pry open the center clip on either side of the connector and unplug it. Use a 10 mm socket to remove the single bolt holding the sensor in place. Easy to get to. Put a little oil on the O ring on the new sensor and insert in engine. Replace bolt, snap connector back on and you are done. If your check engine light remains on you may have to get someone with a code reader to reset it for you. Auto Zone and Advance stores will usually do this for you without charge.
