Where is the bonnet release catch in a 1998 Ford Fiesta?

On the bottom of the steering column, on mine it's a large red handle.

Under the bonnet (on mine) go to the centre of the front and feel carefully for a horizontal plastic switch, push it right and the bonnet will open

The support arm is across the front above the radiator.
