Where is the blower motor located on a 2001 Kia Sportage and how do you replace it?
im looking for answers myself, so far its in between the rear of the engine and behind the dashboard and is a hell of a job to do yourself as you need specialist tools to access it.

This is actually an easy job if you are flexible. The blower motor is located under the dash on the passenger side. The only tool you will need is a Phillips head screw driver. Once you get under there you will see where the blower motor is. Just unscrew the cover then remove the old blower motor. Pay attention to where the cables plug in. Reverse what you just did and the job is done. It can be changed in about 10 minutes.
