I need help with 1998 Lincoln mk8 air ride compressor not kick in?
They usually have a nice ride, better check your tires etc.
what does that mean, ride hard? if its about 2 inches off the ground and is riding hard, broken air ride system.
In the front of the engine below the alternater
Oh and it is cooking class right?
You have to drop the fuel tank, replace the pump then re-install.
Because they use magnetohydrodynamics (yes, that's a real word) and the compression coolers keep the engine at under 250 degrees Celsius
In the 93 Mark...the flasher relay is located behind the glove box compartment. Hopefully the locations haven't changed throughout the years...
No Ford Crown Victoria or Police intercaptor has dual overhead cams. The dual overhead cam engines were only used in Mustangs and Lincoln MK8's.
I have a 94 MK8. I can't guarantee it, but it is probabally the same on a 97. The thermostat is located on the driver's side of the engine compartment towards the bottom of the engine, almost in line with the pulleys. There are about three or four hoses which run into a metal junction. The thermostst is inside of that junction. You must remove all of the hoses to get it out. It is a huge pain to get to if the car is not jacked up and even then there is not much space to work. good luck. NAPA had the thermostat specified by lincoln.
There are four ways to find a ratio. 1 A dealer can normally tell from the vin number. 2 There are normally tags or labels on the axle that have part number, gear ratio, and fluid requirement info. 3 You can count how many times you have to turn the driveshaft to get one complete turn of the tires. 4 You can divide the number of teeth on the ring gear and divide by number of teeth on the pinion.
Hello Most likely, the problem is not a "Reset" issue. (And I'm guessing it's intermittent ) It is a mechanical issue. Inside each door, there is a small magnetic pendulum that is a proximity sensor and switch. It can become sticky and when it fails to move, the "Door Closed" is not confirmed by the system. The good news is that it is easy to fix. In the latching end of the doors there are small openings in the area around the latch. Blast a bit of WD-40 (using the tube) into those holes. It doesn't take alot, so don't go too crazy with it. The fix is immediate and will last a long time. Peace Toby
