The Dealership refers to the resistor as a power unit (for auto climate control) systems. When this fails, the blower motor will not work. No heat or A/C. A different resistor is required for manual climate systems. To access this unit, you will need to remove the the glove box , the support bracket for S.R.S (passenger side) , and possibly the wire harness. There should be left of the blower motor, the resistor. New up to $300. salvage yard $6-25. Try Crazy rays

The Heater Blower Relay on a 1993 Ford Explorer is located in the Power Distribution Box. The PDB is in the engine compartment, mounted on a bracket attached to the right fender apron. The Heater Blower Relay is one of six relays, the first relay on the upper left.

Up under dash, passenger side. My mechanic described it as "take a blower, build a Volvo around it". I paid abt $800 several years ago at a non-dealer Volvo shop. Process starts with taking inside of glove box out - you can see it from there...

The only relay in the heater system would be for the high speed function of the blower motor. That rely would be located under the hood, on the firewall, close to the blower motor resistor.
Check your fuses. There is a separate fuse for high speed.
Go To Your Underhood Fuse/Relay Center Located Near The Master Cylinder. You Will Find The Relay There.
There is none - usually it is the module in the top of the heater / blower box (resistor module) that is the problem.
The relay on the heater/blower circuit on a Ford Escort MK6 is probably behind the glove compartment. There are two popular places that Ford puts its heater/blower relay switches. The other place would be next to the blower motor itself.
