You should find it right next to your oil fill and power steering reservoir , going into the valve cover under the edge of the air intake ! if you have a single overhead came it would be on the front drivers side between #3 & #4 intake ports Good Luck ! P.S. Its PCV (positive crankcase ventilation)
It is the small plastic elbow that is on the top of the valve cover.
The Fuel filter is above the gas tank.
It is in the top of one of the valve covers.
On my '02 Dakota the PCV valve is on the driver's side valve cover. .

The PVC valve on a 1998 firebird is on the passenger side. It is on the valve cover about halfway between front and back.

it is a hose on the engine, close to the brake fluid. screw the hose off, then you can pull PVC out.
It mounts to the throttle body assembly.
PVC Valve Removal & Installation # Disconnect the oil separator hose from the PVC Valve. # Remove the PVC Valve from the grommet in the crankcase. Grasp the valve and gently remove it from the grommet in the passengers side valve cover. Remove the valve from the hose by carefully twisting it out. # Inspect the grommet for deterioration. To Install; # If necessary, replace the crankcase grommet. # Install the PVC Valve. # Install the hose.
