remove the plastic engine cover by removing the oil fill cap once that's removed you'll see a black plenum look on the left side of the plenum there's an electrical conector 3 wires i think unplug it then twist the hole unit and the pcv valve is sitting in the plenum remove it using needle nose pliers
The 3.8 engine is similar in all the grand prix 97 to 2003 Follow the top radiator hose to the top of the engine, the place it bolts up to should be your themostat. Remove the hose, take the bolts out (usually two) put the new one in with a new gasket and bolt it back together. Where was the leak coming from? the coolant has some pathways that go to the intake. that's to warm up the air.the most important question is where the coolant was leaking from?
Five quarts including filter. My owners manual says 5.75, including filter. My experience agrees with the extra .75 quarts! :)

If you mean 3.8 Litre engine, the answer is 200 horsepower, from the factory. 225 lb/ft of torque.
