OK, here we go...
Saw this question when I was searching the net to see if the '88 Bird/LX was still alive out there. Saw two Turbos driving over the Outerbridge a couple of months ago and it brought back memories. I owned one, metallic blue, loaded, bought it brand new back in the day. The best car that anyone could own and even when the Ford paint peeled and everyone nicknamed it the "Road Warrior" it performed at its best. Put 213,000 on the vehicle and you can bet I have the best mechanic in the world.
His reply, "Usually, the O2 sensor is located in the exhaust manifold. There is a possibility that there may be as many as 4 sensors in that car."

Where is the fuel filter on 1993 Ford Thunderbird LX
if you mean the fuel cut off switch, its in the trunk.
The speed sensor on a 1995 Ford Thunderbird LX is typically located on the transmission. It is responsible for monitoring the speed of the vehicle and sending that information to the engine control module. To locate the exact position of the speed sensor, consult the vehicle's service manual or seek assistance from a qualified mechanic with experience working on Ford vehicles.
There are two. a pre-cat sensor and one further down on the exhaust.
what is the spark plug gap on a 1997 ford thunderbird lx 3.8 engine
It will have two; one in each of the exhaust manifolds. They are hard to get at, and you need a special socket to remove them with.
It's a thread in style IAT sensor , so it has to be threaded into the upper intake manifold somewhere
