If you are trying to get to the blower switch because there is only one speed on the switch which is high, the problem is not the switch. It's the resistor in the blower motor and is ususally accessable in the passenger side floor. At least on my 92 that's where it was. You take out the two bolts, unplug the resistor plug in the new one and the process is done.
Replace your blower motor resistor Resistor located under dash on passenger side in screwed into blower housing. May be able to be repaired. Requires soldering a small piece of "unmelted solder" across where the old fusible link was. look carefully at resistor. Or else just replace. Buy new. Junkyard resistor likely to be as bad as yours.
No crank reference signal.
