∙ 13y agoTry this: take the small black storage thing out that's just to the right of the shifter, start the car (or put the key in the ACC position), step on the brake, and push on the small piece of plastic that's mounted just inside of the opening that becomes visable when the storage pouch is removed. That should get you moving.
Now, permanent fix: most likely cause: broken park interlock inside the transmission control. Good news; easily fixable if you have some mechanical skill and knowledge. I have changed that part out myself, and it only took a little over an hour.
The part is available online from various suppliers, I got mine from Billet Tech.
