It is right between the center of the 2 front wheels, on the bottom of the rear side of the oil pan. My oil pan has a cross-hatched heat-sink type bottom. The plug takes a 15mm wrench. It is a normal right-hand thread. That means point your outstretched right hand thumb the direction you want the plug to go (toward the back of the car to loosen it) and your right hand fingers will curl in the direction you need the plug to turn. If the plug is on too tight, make sure the car is fully warmed up. Plug loosens more easily hot than cold. Good luck!
