I'm not a mechanic / technician but I know on the Lincoln LS , 3.0 litre V6
engine that the engine cylinder locations are numbered :
firewall
3 - 6
2 - 5
1 - 4
front of vehicle
So I ASSUME the coils are :
firewall
c - f
b - e
a - d
front of vehicle
( at least that would make sense to me )
Ignition coil misfire cyl 7
The 3.0 litre V6 engine in a Lincoln LS has ( 6 ignition coils ) with the Coil On Plug ( C.O.P. ) ignition system
V6 front to back LS:1,2,3 RS:4,5,6
The 3.9 liter V8 engine in a 2003 Lincoln LS has the Coil On Plug ( C.O.P. ) ignition system with ( 8 ) individual coils The Ford 4.0 liter V6 has ( 1 ) coil pack that has ( 6 towers ) where the spark plug wires connect
The Lincoln LS , 3.0 liter V6 engine has the Coil On Plug ( C.O.P.) ignition system so there are ( 6 individual ignition coils )
P0355 means Ignition Coil E Primary/secondary circuit malfunction. good luck
It has the Coil On Plug ( C.O.P. ) ignition system so there is no distributor
In the V8, it's passenger side 1234 front to back, driver side 5678 front to back.
firewall 4 - 8 3 - 7 2 - 6 1 - 5 front of Lincoln LS ( V8 )
firewall 4 - 8 3 - 7 2 - 6 1 - 5 front of Lincoln LS ( V8 )
The Lincoln ls v8 or v6 has a coil on plug (COP)for each cylinder-they are located inside the valve covers under a small cover on top--Butch
firewall 4 - 8 3 - 7 2 - 6 1 - 5 front of Lincoln LS ( V8 )
