Front Turn signal removal on 2005 Cobalt, Open Hood and look at the headlight unit There are approximately 4 or 5 3/8 or 5/16 bolts. You need to remove them and the unit will just pop out. The turn signal bulb is the one closest to the side panel.
it is located under the radio kinda above the floor heater duct tube ,,relays face to the passengers side ... remember the relays need to be for turn signals NOT relays for lighting!!!! turn relays are blue !!!!

Yes - on passenger side of dash with turn signal and emergency flasher relays. Turn on your turn signal or e-flasher and listen for ticking - you'll find it...
The turn and hazard flasher relays are incorporated into hazard switch.
They use separate flasher relays. Replace the turn signal flasher relay.

Check the signal relays and fuses under the hood. Because of the battery is not sufficient to light up the signal light.
Are there 2 square relays in a box ? I believe those are your turn signal and hazard flasher relays.
Bad wiring i am guessing that something is wrong with your turn signal switch. Actually, The turn signals and hazard lights are controlled by 2 different relays. Try changing the Turn-signal relay.
The turn signal relay is located under the driver side dashboard above the fuse block mounted to the kick panel.
