its on the driver side, next to the back tire. you will find it attached to outside of the frame.
The purge valve on the Malibu is located on top of the charcoal canister that is mounted on the side of, or in close relation to the fuel tank. Usually on the same side as the filler neck. This purge valve is not to be confused with the purge valve solenoid which is located on the intake manifold. If for some reason you can not find the purge valve/canister just locate the solenoid on the intake manifold (which will have an electrical plug and one vaccum line attached to it.) and trace the vaccum line under the car to the canister. As stated above...it is there that you will find the canister purge valve.
the fuel filter is located just ahead of fuel tank under car. between tank and canister.
You can find it next to the gas tank.
The bottom of the canister is vented to the atmosphere.
Oh, dude, a charcoal canister is like this little guy in your car that helps control emissions by storing fuel vapors. You can find it chilling near the fuel tank or under the hood, just doing its job without asking for any recognition. It's like the unsung hero of your vehicle, you know?
You can find the evap canister near Driver side rear wheel rear of gas tank underneath the car. Thanks
Underneath the driver side door next to the charcoal canister assy.
