Bought online for $100 each (aftermarket). You can simply apply some sop water on the air bag and see if it leaks (just like the way you check tire leaks). If you don't replace the bag the motor might burn out soon. The air bag is not hard to replace. No special tool needed, but you have to jack the car very high. So I don't think you need to do the "non-air" conversion.
